A European place could be up for grabs for the team who finishes seventh
West Ham do not have the mental strength to secure a seventh-place finish in the Premier League this season, according to Pablo Zabaleta.
The Hammers are in a five-way race for seventh spot, which could lead to a Europa League place next season.

Just two points separate Wolves, Leicester City, Everton, Watford and West Ham.
The Hammers would have moved above those teams had they beaten Everton on Saturday – but they lost 2-0.

Zabaleta said: “I am not happy at all because if you look at the season so far, we have not been consistent enough. We have had three or four bad performances against teams around us.
“There are five teams looking for that seventh position and it is all about one or two points difference between them.
“We have lost so many opportunities to be in that seventh place and it shows the weak mentality that we have probably got and which we need to improve looking forward.”
